THERE’S A WAR GOING ON FOR OUR IMAGINATIONS.

When we log on to Netflix or Disney Plus, open our Kindles, or walk into our local libraries, we meet creators who want to delight, amuse, and tap into our daydreams.

There’s a flip side to that coin: our daydreams guide our sympathies, and our sympathies guide our beliefs. Every writer, fiction or otherwise, is fighting right now for permission to tell you what to believe. The war is for your mind, and the battleground is your imagination.

The good news is the Bible has all the answers we need in life—and, if our relationship to Christ is the rudder of our beliefs, we have hope, love, and joy that popular culture can’t understand.

WHAT I DO

I write thrillers and cozy mystery novels. I hope to amuse and delight you with stories that are action-packed, deeply involving, with three-dimensional characters you’ll have arguments with in your head. More than that, I want to point dreamers to where the answers are: the God of the Bible.

MY BACKGROUND

I work at a church in San Diego. On the side, I’ve been writing and editing professionally for over a decade. I made the jump to novels in 2020; what started as a hobby has developed into a committed pursuit.

I've got a gorgeous wife (who’s also a monster editor) and two incredible daughters. I love old movies and I collect wristwatches.
